SAN JUAN, PR?FBI Special Agent Daniel Knapp, assigned to the San Juan Field Office, accidentally drowned on December 29, 2011, at Playa Escondida (Hidden Beach) in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, while rescuing a young adult swimmer. Special Agent Knapp was approached for assistance by friends of the struggling swimmer and without hesitation swam out to assist.
