MI Safety Matters ? Auto Accidents in Michigan Avoided By Lane Departure Warning System

Researchers from The University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute and the Takata Corporation have developed new technology that allows both motorists and commercial truck drivers to be aware of their surrounding traffic environment, as well as their position within their lane. It is hoped that the integrated-warning systems will improve overall highway safety in Michigan, helping avoid gruesome auto accidents.
